Rena Air 200 Air Pump
I gave it to Goodwill who will hopefully help it find use some place out of ear shot.I've owned my Rena 200 now for 6+ years and am VERY happy. It's so quiet--almost silent. It is just now starting to loose some of its original power, though still performing well enough for my 30 gallon tank. I'll be replacing the diaphram with the rebuild kit and be ready to go for another run--maybe another 6 years. Great pump. The other reviews which mention the noise are NOT what I have experienced--like I said, running 6+ years now and all super quiet!High quality pump that can be adjusted from zero to full output. I'm using it for a bring shrimp grow out container so it is tuned very low. The pump isn't completely quiet and will output a high pitched hum which is probably outside of the hearing frequency range for many adults, however if you can hear it placing the pump inside a cabinet will squelch the sound. This small pump exceeded my expection.I only intended to run one 20 gallon fish tank and now i'm runnng two with a maniold installed. It quiet and supplys plenty of air.I've had this product for about 2 years now and it's worked fine. Very quite and and I like rena products. I have 3 of their xp filter setups and have been very happy with them. I needed to re-arrange some things with my tanks and the nipple the hose goes on broke off when I tried to remove the hose from the pump. Now the pump is useless.

Fish Tank Aquarium Light 48" 6x54w T5 HO Actinic Fixture
The lighting fixture itself is awesome. No more multiple cords/plugs with timers to turn off and on...This one unit does it all with a built-in digital timer and display. It's made solid and the reflector is molded for optimal light reflection. This unit is extremely similar to another lighting unit that sell for a couple hundred dollars more.
This unit is set-up with marine lighting at 12,000K per tube and 2 actinic tubes, but I figured out the cost to change out the bulbs to convert to freshwater and it still comes out to be a great deal for freshwater too. I'm going to order another and switch out the tubes for 6,000K HO T-5s for a planted freshwater tank.
I'm very pleased with this purchase and impressed with the company's customer service. Highly recommend!

1st time I ordered it arrived broken, not sure if from shipping even though couple holes in box or if it was damaged already? 2nd time ordered my husband put the light together for me while I was at work, one blue bulb did not work, for me this was not a big deal however, the LEDs lights did not work. The first one that did work but was damaged when plugged in looked AMAZING! However the light it's self is flimsy, not well built and no name brand etc. also did not come with instruction booklet. I feel this light is just cheap and not of good quality. For 100 dollars more my husband took me to a marine store and bought be an amazing light with 4 bulbs and very heavy and durable. Not like this.Read Best Reviews of Fish Tank Aquarium Light 48" 6x54w T5 HO Actinic Fixture Here

Marineland (Aquaria) AMLPFK55B Biowheel Aquarium Kit with LED Light, 55-Gallon
i bought this tank kit from a local petsmart store in february 2012 for $200. got it home, unpacked it and set it up with really no problems at all.
all the hood, filter, and trim parts are plastic. the filter is the bio-wheel penguin 350, which holds a double filter and biowheel setup with adjustable intake. the filter is generally quieter than average for kit systems, and i am very pleased with it.
the led lighting comes from two led panels, one on either side of the split-hood. they are removable and come with detachable power cords. they are surprisingly bright, and provide a nice shimmer effect into the tank. however, they do not provide suitable light energy for a planted tank so don't expect to get good plant growth. there is also a night-light setting of a half-dozen blue led's per panel. the lights do not have a timer option, but instead a 3-way manual switch (white, off, blue) on each panel.
the tank also comes with a generic 200-watt heater and temperature sticker. the heater is not marked in degrees, but that's what the thermometer is for :) they seem to work ok, but i replaced the sticker thermometer with a more accurate floating style thermometer. there is also a startup pack that includes a small amount of tropical fish flakes, a net that's far too short to catch bottom-dwelling fish without getting wet up to the elbow, and a small amount of water conditioner. there are no decorations, gravel, air pumps, or other items included.
i am generally satisfied with my purchase. i let the tank cycle for a week before dropping in a couple danios and platies. if i notice any issues with components wearing out early or breaking too easily, i will come back and update this review.
***UPDATE***
the tank is still holding out very well. nothing has broken or fallen apart, except for the suction cups that were with the heating element. the clips deteriorated and fell apart within a couple months, but i bought some replacements and they've worked just fine. the filter is still churning away. the led's still work, but one panel has developed a flicker or short of some kind, that sometimes lasts for a few minutes before fully powering on. it only happens maybe once a week, when i switch it from night to day setting. if it eventually needs replaced, amazon sells the panels for $25-30 each at the following link: Marineland LED Aquarium Light, 11-Inch.
after 17 months of use, i can definitely say this marineland tank is a keeper. Why are there no measurements for this 55 gallon tank????? Who would buy this unless they knew everything about this tank from other sources. Unless you post the measurements I see no need to look at this aquarium. Just imagine how many more tanks you may have sold but most people and I am guilty of this, don't go forward and move on because there are no measurements. Hopefully this helps, Mike

I got this for my daughter to put in her baby BiOrb. It fits through the top and looks great inside. Her Betta fish, Milo, loves to swim through the holes even though when we first put it in his tank he was a little afraid of it! The colors are very beautiful and it really adds color and life to the tank. Great buy.Read Best Reviews of Exotic Environments Australian Barrier Reef with Clam Aquarium Ornament Here
I ordered this with Exotic Environments Red Sea Hide-Away Aquarium Ornament and a keyboard. Both fish decor boxes mutilated, red sea decor cracked in half, while the outer box and keyboard box in perfect condition. Did the packer not notice? Or just not care?
This is pretty decent in my 10 gallon, however the paint job looks rushed on it. The clam specifically looks pretty bad, like a child painted it. For the price it's nothing I'm to surprised about. I personally won't order from Amazon Blue Ribbon pet products again, but this is nice and cheap if your willing to take the risk of their product quality control and poor packaging.

I was expecting the colors on that which should be bright, but it is not. My tank setup is very bright, has yellow gravels and orange-white plants. The background is bright green. This seems very dull infront of them. If the colors were what shown in the picture, it would have enhances the look of my tank.
It is still not bad, thats why I have rated 3-star + 1-star for Delivery ON-TIME.. Thumbs up for Amazon...

Barely a teaspoon of paste and a pad that you get with the filter cartridge. And it doesn't even work on noticeable scratches. I don't mean deep scratches, but it doesn't work on anything other than haze. I didn't buy it to get rid of haze.I think they should be clear in the description of this scratch removal kit that it will remove SMALL, FINE scratches. It will make a slight improvement to larger scratches created by the ceramic media so I recommend being very careful if you have to remove any of the cermaic media and not getting scratches in the first place!Lifegard Aquatics 1-Inch Slip Bulkhead Fitting

Tetra Fauna Viquarium
What I consider a serious design flaw is my biggest gripe. We have fire belly toads in our setup. They can crawl through the space where the river bed exits the waterfall tower. And, since our tower has a manufacturing defect, there's a hole in the inside wall of the unit. One of our toads, of course, worked his way in to this hole (which is underwater, by the way) and couldn't get back out. We had to dismantle the ENTIRE thing to empty the water out of the base, pull it up, and retrieve the toad. What this meant was that we had to remove the other toads, scoop out all the waterbed gravel AND the course gravel from the land side which meant destroying our carefully built live-moss landscape. Then, as a two person-and-many-swear-word-job, everything had to be carefully put back into place (difficult because you can't let any gravel get under either piece or they don't work right), try and rebuild our mossy ground cover and re-plant our live plants, and then add back the toads plus more water.
Our fix to prevent this happening again was to place 4 cottonballs at the corners inside the tower unit to prevent toads from working their way into the tower again. So far so good, but I can't imagine what you'd do if you had a small amphibian!
Finally, even though the filtration base makes a really tight fit against the sides of the terrarium, all sorts of debris gets sucked up against the rubber seals I assume this means some water is also flowing beside the filter box instead of through it. Regardless, it's unsightly because there's this vertical line of debris right in the middle of the front of the terrarium glass that I can't reach to clean.
Also, there's no way to easily clean the gravel bed in the land area. I am interested to see if this proves to be a problem or not. The water portion is easy to clean you just siphon it like you would in an aquarium.I wanter to see my daugter's pet turtle on land for once and thought this waterfall/stream setup might entice him to come out of the pool. Setup was easy and unit has worked flawlessly for several months now.
I put his basking light right over one of the flat "rocks" that covers a filter. The turtle now comes out and basks laying on his rock something I had never seen him doing. Unexpectedly he also "plays" in the stream I think he is searching for food but its quite amusing to see him moving shells around with his head. If threatened by a noise or movement he uses the stream as a water slide to jet himself back down into his pool.
The water quality has been good I change out some every week but it has stayed clear and clean looking. The waterfall and stream have increased evaporation of water so I am adding more water then I used to.
Overall this new setup for our tutle has worked out very well. If a turtle can be said to look happy, then our turtle is happy. His behaviors seem much more natural and he acts more curious now.I bought this as an upgrade for the one that was in my tank. It is certainly an amazing upgrade!!! However, there absolutely no possible way that this is intended for use by frogs! I had to put a lot of time and money "frog proofing" this product before I even dare to put it in the tank. With a lot of hot glue and nylon screen, I finally was able to put it in the tank. It works wonders! I definitely suggest this product to people with pets over about 4 inches in diameter, or a turtle (I don't think the hard shell could squeeze through the 1.5 inch gaps)

The best purchase I've made for my Chinese Water dragon. He loves it and takes his baths then comes back to dry land. Best investment I have made.Want Tetra Fauna Viquarium Discount?
Our next door neighbor recently moved out and somehow left his turtle behind. We found him (a Red Eared Slider)walking around in our back yard in late November. Our 12 year old son was so excited and curious about this turtle that we had to adopt him. We named him "Toodie" and I must admit I fell in love with him too. Having had turtles and fish and all kinds of pets in the past but none now, I wanted to give him a good home and also teach my son how to properly care for and the importance of the "how to and whys" of making the proper habitat for reptiles. So, we started out with just a five gallon tank, filter, hood kit to see how "Toodie" would do and how our son would like caring for him. "Toodie" liked the 5 gallon aquarium but soon it was obvious that the tank was too small. So after a couple of hours of research on-line, we moved up to a 20 gallon "turtle-quarium" kit that included the proper lighting, basking area, filter, etc.
Then about a week later I asked a sales specialist at our local Petco store what I could do in order to make the turtle's tank as realistic as possible, making it part aqua and part land environment and he suggested the Tetra-Fauna Viquarium.
So I bought the Tetra-Fauna Viquarium as a family gift for Christmas. It is very well made and well designed. Fortunately, it is NOT made out of cheap plastic...it is made of a heavy clay type material which adds great realism to the unit. The way the clay is molded looks totally realistic, just as you may see a small river waterfall with rocks in a real jungle/tropical area. It fit perfectly in the corner of our 20 gallon tank and because the instructions are simple and well written, I had it set up and running within about 20 minutes. I have had this set up and running in our tank now for about 10 days and the built-in, hidden filtration system is quiet, effective and runs extremely well. The waterfall flow and realism is totally awesome and adds tremendous aesthetic realism, beauty and quality to the turtle's environmental safety and naturalism. Most importantly, "Toodie" just loves it! He climbs up on the top of the waterfall and slides down in to the water below and sometimes basks on top of either one of the two "towers" formed by the clay molding.
I think it was originally priced at over $100.00 but it is a great deal at a lower price here on Amazon.com. For the money, this is a totally worthwhile investment in your turtle's habitat and we have had numerous compliments on the tank by friends and family over the holidays!
The Viquarium unit also give you some design flexibility to your tank; it comes with a nice artificial plant fixtures that looks totally real and also a waterfall "extension" to lengthen the waterfall slide if you wish. The unit is also easy to clean and easy to change the filters. The unit uses two filters that are inexpensive to buy and replace through Amazon.com or your local pet store.
If you really want to care properly for your turtles or other reptiles/amphibians and have a delightfully beautiful addition to your home, get this totally unique and functional asset for your aquarium/terrarium habitat and you will not be disappointed.
