This aquarium gravel is a great value. The price per pound is very competitive and the color is vibrant. My only complaint is that there have been a few stones where the color has chipped off (the tank has been established for less than 2 months).
After coming home from college, I realized that I was allergic to our cats. Not wanting to keep them outside all the time, I found these wipes claiming to get rid of the dander that causes allergies. I combed them for a while first (these cats apparently don't enjoy cleaning themselves and so are very dirty) and afterwards wiped them down with these wipes. They enjoyed it and it really helped with my allergies. I would highly recommend them to anyone with mild allergies to cats who still want to be around them.

My cat is very clean but for some reason she recently acquired a pretty strong unpleasant pet smell. Not wanting to go through the pain of bathing a cat, I purchased these. Initially kitty was not so sure about it but after a while I realized she was really enjoying the "bath". I bought the bubble wall for a great price and the delivery came on time with free super saver shipping by USPS. There is two rods made of a hard board like material (where the bubbles come out of) and a connector. I had a hard time keeping the ends connected together. Its almost like they don't fit in the connector and that's why I took a star away. It's holding together now, but barely, because if I push in too hard it might break. Other than that it looks great in my tank and my fish love swimming through the bubbles. It's a good deal worth buying.

I purchased two of these TLF reactors so that I could run them in series. I decided to run D-Nitrate in One and Activated Carbon in the other to try and bring the Nitrate/Nitrite numbers down in my 75 gallon ref. To early to tell yet whether these two have actually reduced my numbers, but there is no doubt that the water in the tank is now more crystal clear than before. Is it the carbon in the reactor along with less feeding that is clearing up the water cloumn, or is it just the fact that the Reef is now more mature than it was before this installation? Only time will tell how effective these are in reducing the Nitrate level in the reef. As for hooking them up in series, they do require some minor engineering and plumbing alterations, but if you are adpt at working with a refugium, and a somewhat sophisticated sump, this should be a piece of cake. I say should because I have a great plumbing supply house nearby, with a great salesman who will stop at nothing to keep the number of pieces in play to get this running at a minimum. If you only have a Lowes or Home Depot nearby, or a good hardware store, you can generally find the necessary items there to accomplish the task. I would have rated these a 5 "Star" item had I found the inclusion of the necessary plumbing parts included in the original packaging. As far as bang for the buck is concerned, these certainly meet that criteria and i would highly reccommend them to other mixed reef keepers looking to inexpensively add Phosphate or nitrate reactors to their systems.

Just like other reviews say, it does exactly what it says it does in a durable fahion. Evenly pass water through your phosphate media to get rid of of phosphates and ultimately control algae. Very happy with mine. The cost of buying 3 of these is the same as one of the more High class reactors. This comes with everything you need except for the pump.
I bought this about a year ago so my stinkpot turtle could get out to dry his shell. Like others have said, it is not that aesthetically pleasing, but it did the job. After a few months, the lower suction cups stopped sucking to the glass, and it grew algae very easily. Even after scrubbing, the algae came back soon. Then my turtle chomped it upgross! I hope he doesn't get sick! This time I will pay more to get a higher quality product.

I have had two sliders since they were babies and I was only able to use the zoo med turtle dock for about 2-3 months due to several issues. At first the dock was okay... it wasn't totally aesthetically pleasing but it did the trick. My turtles would use it often to bask without any problems. After about the first month or so the suction cups were not sticking very well to the point where they no longer stick to the bottom portion which is submersed in the water. As the turtles got bigger they would get stuck behind the bottom plastic bar, and would really have to struggle to free themselves...they never drown but this crossed my mind as a possible hazard. The dock also started to grow algae and when I tried to clean and scrub it off the paint scrubbed off with it. These are just minor problems considering once my turtles grew to be 3 inches in length they began to actually bite the dock to the point where they were able to get actual huge chunks out of it and consume it. I looked this up online and it is a very common problem with foam docks. It is very unhealthy for them to consume foam or plastic. Overall it is a cheap dock and you get what you pay for. I bought one of these docks for my turtle a really long time ago and it lasted for 5+ years. Then it just seemed too slimy so i decided to throw it out and get my turtle a fresh one. As soon as I opened the box i could tell that the quality was so much cheaper than the original one I had. The raft itself started flaking off as soon as i touched it. At the same time it felt super greasy. I didnt really want to expose my turtle to anything that would flake off into the water so i tried rinsing it off and pretty much got no where. The plastic bars that attach to the suction cups seemed like the crappiest plastic I've ever seen or touched. The original one was much sturdier. The suction cups were separated in the packaging and required some assembly prior to use. As I was putting the suction cups onto the plastic bars I kept wondering how long this dock would last b/c the quality seemed so terrible. The suction cups were very difficult to attach and within a few seconds the plastic bar snapped into two pieces. So annoying. I gave this thing the benefit of the doubt after reading some of the reviews on here, like how the turtles will start chowing down on the dock. My turtles are extreme wimps. They won't even eat the tiny goldfishes that I had in the tank. This brings me to exactly how horrible this dock is. I don't know if they did something new or found a new way to make this thing, but the minute I took it out of the box, I felt this weird oil and it was extremely sandy, like the styrofoam was disintegrating in my hand. Maybe it was just extra parts of it. I can't tell. The dock was also very dark, almost black, with spots of green, I guess to look like algae or grass or something, but it wasn't pretty. It didn't look like the picture on the box at all! I thought I had received someone's used one until I did a little research. Anyways, back to oil. I proceeded to clean the dock, with a very mild dish washing detergent so it'll cut through the oil and hopefully wash it away. After, I soaked the dock in clean water for 2 days, TWO DAYS, changing water twice a day to make sure any traces of detergent would be gone. On the second day, there was still oil coming out of the dock, but it was very little. To the point where I had to look for it so again, gave it benefit of the doubt, put it into my tank. My turtles loved it. They immediately started playing on it, but the goldfishes that I had in the tank all died, within 30 minutes. They've been in the tank with my turtles for almost 2 weeks now!! They've literally became friends with my turtles!! I immediately pulled out my turtles. My turtles are okay, but the oil or whatever the dock was emitting CANNOT be good for any sea creatures. I don't recommend this product at all!
These plants are great but are too big for the Baby Biorbs. It says so on the packaging; wish it had been in the product description.

These are by far my favorite fake plants. My discus love to hide under the big leaf plant. I wouldn't say they look 100% real but they aren't obvious fakes like others I've seen. The ball on the bottom does a great job of weighting the plant down and is easy to bury in the rocks.
This is a big ship!! The dimensions should have been on the writen advertisement. Sadly, I am having to buy a taller tank to hold the ship. Tounge-in-cheek!! You know I wouldn't buy a new tank if I didn't love the ship. The dimensions on the ship: 21 inches at the top of the tall mast. 27" in length with the two pieces of the ship pushed together.

This ship is really big and exactly what I was looking for. I have it in a 75 gallon and it looks great. The cichlids love all the hiding places and swim through areas.
I use this product...not for a fish tank...but for placing in a compost (inside house) container lid. I place a popsicle stick inside the lid lip to hold the mesh filled bag that contains the charcoal filter pellets. Works like a charm...no more smelly orders. My husband says I'm a genius for thinking of it. Ha! What a nice man I'm married too:) Where there's a will there is a way! So, you might want to give it a try, because it really works...we've been doing this for 16 years:)

We bought this as a first aquarium for our household. All of the parts included have worked great, and the instruction book has been really helpful, from the set-up to the adding of fish. The bottle of starter is only enough to treat the aquarium once though, so you might want to order a second bottle (the stuff that adds the beneficial bacteria) for water changes.

The packaging on this item was horrible. It was shipped with absolutely no protection, not even packing paper. That's right ... just a glass aquarium (or what was left of it), with all the accessories thrown inside, in a box. No wonder it arrived shattered. I didn't rate this at 5 Stars because the box was really beat up that the actual aquarium was in. My aquarium didn't arrive shattered. I have it up and running right now and am really love it. The motor on the filter is super quiet and I had to look to see if it was even working. I love that there is a protective coating on the switch to turn the light on. The only thing I didn't like was that the aquarium glasses are not perfectly put together. I was scared about this until I looked online and saw that there is some shifting after the pieces of glass are glued together. I will update this if I have anything else to say. I have yet to add my plants, fish and shrimp. I am doing a bit of fishless cycling but the book says that I don't have to because it comes with beneficial bacteria. The book that it comes with is AMAZINGLY BENEFICIAL! This is a perfect starter aquarium because it comes with everything! Got this about a month or 2 ago for my 3 gallon freshwater nano and all the plants are doing great. I throw it on for 12 hrs (8a-8p) and all is good. I had an LED light on previously and this thing kicks butt. The only downside is the coverage it's too much! I have it on top of a bookshelf and it pretty much lights my entire room up. LED does put out an amazing shimmer effect though, that I kind of miss. Wish there was an inexpensive freshwater LED nano light available. Also, keep a replacement bulb on hand.

I bought the large 10 oz tube to fill in some hollow decorations so I wouldn't need to worry about cleaning the interior surfaces. It has worked great for this purpose. It does have a strong vinegar smell to it, and the big tube requires a caulk gun to dispense it. Wear latex gloves when using to prevent getting any on your skin, but if you do I found that Clorox wipes remove it easily off of skin and surfaces. Water doesn't really cut it. If you do use this to fill decorations remember the decorations will FLOAT unless you put some weight inside. I used this to assemble a reef tank sump. It works perfect and is MUCH better then the GE1 sold at Home Depot. It even "smells" better. It sets up nice and firm as soon as you use it unlike non-aquarium silicone that is "mushy".
I bought two sets of these for my two Combo Light Fixture about 5 months ago. The second I put them in and turned flipped the power switch on, the bulbs cracked. The bulbs didn't go out though and they've remain alive til this very day. They do their job just seems like the hardware seems a little cheap.
