TetraPond Clear Choice Pressure Filter UV bulb, 9-Watt

Bulb worked for only a few days, then algae started. It is hard to tell exactly when it failed since I didn't look until the algae got out of control.

I should have paid attention to some previous reviews and bought the cheapest available.

This brand name bulb was worthless. I have their filter and their pump but their bulb is unreliable.

I expected to get at least 1 full season out of this bulb, The one that I got with my filter last year lasted 5 months, I was at least counting on 6 months for this one. What a waste. A cheap non-brand one might last a little longer.

Tetra consumable accessories appear to be a bad purchase.

Used as a replacement for an existing (two-year old) UV light in my pond filter. Easy to replace and it works great!

we ordered this filter because it had the UV light after three weeks the UV light we out we had to go thur the manufacture because the seller not Amazon said it had been 30 days I contacted Tetra and they replaced the item,
