I did a little research and found that Bettas like to rest on leaves....I did a little more searching and found that there are certain leaves and plants they like better than others. I was told that this one was a good product for the fish so I ordered it. I thought it would be a little bigger when it arrived, and it did have a funky smell. We cleaned it numerous times to rid it of the smell and stuck it in his tank. To this day he avoids it so we removed it. It's an okay fake plant, but I wouldn't buy it again. We went to the pet store in town and picked out a nice plant for him where he is resting happily each night.
