We bought at least a dozen of these over a few months time. We have a 55 gallon cichlid tank that we wanted a reef theme for. At first these were a great addition however they degraded so quickly. Once they get a little algae on them they will stain and god help you if you try to scrub them off. After two months in the tank they began to have a weird chemical smell, began to fade, and got sticky. This happened with all of them. They are great if you don't mind replacing them on a regular basis. If you want to keep them in the tank long term....keep looking....these won't last.

looked great amongst my other neon tank acessories and felt nice and soft for my betta to lay on. Upon cleaning my tank 3 months later i was startled to find out that the fish grime would not rub off. i had to toss it because it turned a yucky black and brown color. this is simply a glorified 25 cent childrens toy.
