Glofish Plastic Plants Large Galactic Purple, Moneywort

I have a GloFish tank and bought this because the color seemed vibrant. Well...once in the tank under the LED lights this purple is completely flat. Only the green plastic plants light up and the blue is OK, but the purple, red and orange are dull.

I purchased this plant for my 20 gallon aquarium that I have stocked with Glofish and lit with Blue LED Lighting. The plant is pretty but the color purple changes to medium blue (slightly dull) under the blue led lights. I understood from the description, "Glofish Plastic Plants/Purple" that I would have a purple colored plant that stood out a bit under blue lighting. Not so much.

I bought a glofish plant, colorful, yes, glows with the light that you use for glofish, NO! Stick with the walmart/ marina brand they glow with the lights. ALSO, overpriced here on amazon, and I thought my local pet store was expensive!

It works. decarates my tank. the only problem is it doesnt glow like i exspected it to but thats ok.
