K&H Stock Tank De-Icer Cord Safety Clip

Tank clip for attaching cords to the side of stock tanks. Doesn't work well on the metal tanks.

Hard to keep the cord "threaded" on the clip while pushing it onto the tank.

This is NOT HORSE PROOF. My mares delighted in popping them off.

This would be fine in ponds or with cattle or goat tanks but not horses! BUT, even the pond deicer shorted out before the spring thaw came!

Good idea but needs more design work on the cord clip & the de-icer from shorting out with continued long winter use.

It was annoying to have the hose jump out of the trough when I left it alone to do other barn chores. I bought one of these and it has done exacty what I needed it to do. I also use it to keep the trough heater cord in place. It's flexible so no problem with breakagee. Good product!
