This tank offers a 360 degree view of the fish. (Including the cool "bending" effect you get in a curricular tank that you don't get in a square or rectangle) Hood as a LED lamp with 4 settings: White, Blue, Blue moonlight and Blue & White. Nice and small for its purpose. the lighting options is a nice touch. The tank did not come with the rubber air hose, had to bum off another aquarium. It works though.
I've tried numerous ways to dissolve carbon dioxide into my tank. The best, for me, is this type of diffuser, with a rotating wheel that assists in the process. For 2-3 times more, there is a 10 times better, more efficient product (althought 3-4 times taller). The black nipple that comes with this one is not too useful. The rate of flow needed has to be at least that of a small powerhead. The only reason to use this product is if you want a rotating wheel and space is very limited. Otherwise, other accessories function better and are considerably easier to install/control.

I would designate these a child's toy for pretend play without water. As an ornament for an outdoor pond, these are pretty useless. Compared to real goldfish, they are about 50% the size. In the product information, it says "Attached weights position fish in any depth aquarium." This is the main reason I purchased these fish. There is no such thing in the fish I received. They float on the surface with the dorsal fin above water, like a shark, or after a short time sink to the bottom. They are cute, and nicely made. Shipping was quick, and from Hong Kong, about the only place in the world that has these.
I purchased this as a replacement for one that failed after a short time. I was trying to replace with the same pump, but that was a mistake, because the new one has already failed too. Poor design!

I bought this pump 2 years ago. The impeller failed after one year the ridges on the shaft had worn down. I replaced it for about $12. After 10 months the replacement also failed. I bought another one, and it failed after 3 months. I glued the rotor blade to the impeller and it worked for a while. Now the motor has failed. Poor design. I have this pump and I have replaced the impeller every 6months since 2007. The replacement part cost as much as a new pump. POOR quality don't waste your $$$.
What can I say, I am slightly disappointed in the fish tank. It would be cute for a little girls room. The tank is really short, you have to bend or sit down to look at the fish. Mold also forms under the lid which I have to occasionally clean in order to prevent any build up.

I bought this to add a second light for my tank and to use it primarily at night with actinic lighting. Works great and doesn't get too hot. And what I really like is the fact it is very slim and fits perfectly on the front half of my glass canopy.
Only problem was I did not realize how small it was, my geckos are to big for it now. So next time I will order a bigger one.

At first glance, the kit is very helpful, providing everything in one box (minus the fish): an aquarium, silk plant, filter, food, water conditioner, and even gravel. However, the filter is a pathetic excuse of machinery that doesn't do it's job. It doesn't come with an air pump so the fish will start going up for air and will probably die in a few hours of being placed in the habitat. The gravel is cheap plastic coated things that could do harm to the fish when the smaller pieces float up. So the only good thing about it is that it is aesthetically pleasing to the eye -if dead floating fish is fine with you.
This item arrived on time and in excellent condition. Be sure to look for the movable tails that can break and adversly the mobility in your aquarium. They are for the tube type aquarium.

I have over fifty baby guppies in a 60 gallon tank and I put a tablet on the glass and they went crazy for it....I enjoyed watching them....My son came over and was entertained watching the guppies have a feeding frenzy so he borrowed some from me and had a ball watching his fish tear it up. My suggestion is dont put it accross from your filter and it wont desolve so fast. I got the veggie flavored but I plan on getting the other flavors. The only place I know that sells them is Walmart.
