My 160 gallon tank was reaching 82 degrees at night and I couldnt get it down. Since ive added this my tank has dropped down to 79 degrees and allows my heater to maintain a stabile temp. The water evaporates fast due to the increase, but as long as you stay on top of the sump level it works flawlessly.

I was having a problem with heat in my 34 gallon reef tank. I was surprised at how well these fans worked . I put them on a controller that would automatically go on if the temperature rises above 80°. Let's just say I have no more issues with heat. These fans are small, economical ,and very quiet. This is the best purchase I've ever made.

For my 20 gallon tank, operating only about 7 hours a day, it works great.

This product is neatly designed and it seems durable.

However, like the picture suggests, you are going to have lots of trouble placing it

unless your tank edge have nothing on, because the bracket won't fit anything.

Almost all fish tank that are on American market have black plastic covering the top edge.

I was lucky that I had a light fixture that was perfect for the cooling fan to lean on.

The main problem is that this cooling fan makes loud noise.

If you are used to make your own aquarium fan with computer cooling fan,

You will be shocked by its noise.

It sounds as if you have a huge air conditioner operating near you.

If your aquarium is very close to your workplace or bedroom, it is most likely that the noise will bother you.

P.S The package says do not operate the cooler more than 8 hours a day.

If you want a low cost chiller, then this will do the trick. I have a 15 gallon

tank, that is around 19C, and with this thing on, it goes down to 16C, I believe it

could even go lower because I only left it on for an hour.

Yes, it's like having a chiller, but without having to burn your pocket!

I was so excited waiting for my fan's (2) I put them everywhere I could to get the max air... it didnt help at all.....absolutely NOTHING.....then it says to turn it off in 4 hours so it wont over heat....what a joke.....wouldda been better to buy a walmart fan..... I want my $$$$ back...... so dissappointing
